La Petite Ceinture is a former railway line, which once encircled Paris inside the Boulevards des Maréchaux.

Disused since 1934, its tracks are now a haven for a rare biodiversity of wild flowers and fauna. Join us for a unique training session in one of Paris’ oldest steam locomotive factories.

Founded in 864, Monnaie de Paris is France’s longest standing institution and the oldest enterprise in the world.

For twelve centuries, it has cultivated a venerable tradition of metalworking arts and crafts. It was Paris’ first industrial establishment and is the last in operation today. The Cour des Remises makes for a truly special and unparalleled boxing arena.

La Grande Arche

Inaugurated on July 14, 1989, the Grande Arche was initially called “La Grande Arche de la Fraternité”.

Its designer described it as a window onto the world and intended it as a crossroads for communication, where people from different backgrounds and cultures can meet and come together.
